Naiad Necklace

The naiads were greek water nymphs - daughters of the rivers and streams and oceans. This pendant channels their spirit, featuring a fair trade aquamarine sourced from female artisanal miners in Malawi. The aquamarine is cut into a unique "mirror cut" - two sides of the pyramid shape are polished, and two left satin, and there is a beautifully reflective optical illusion inside the stone when the piece moves.

The center stone is surrounded by natural freshwater seed pearls set in a decorative fishtail setting. The pendant hangs suspended from an 18" figaro chain.

Totally hand carved and set in house, this is one for the water babies.
